After wild wind and seas saw racing postponed until the evening, racing finally got underway with the doubles.

In the open doubles, Jersey's Gary Briggs and Josh Watkins took gold, with Ed Van Lopik and James Dutton a very close second. Olympic medallist Matt Wells and former GB team mate Marcus Bateman took the Bronze.

In the womens Open 2x it was reigning European Coastal Champion Bass Andre joining forces with GB team mate Lara Brittain who stormed to gold ahead of a strong showing by Tynemouth's Lucy Freeman and Mckenna Simpson. In 3rd Whitby CRC's own Sefi Ormston and Maya Matheson-Smith put in a fantastic effort in a stacked field.
